After doing the article on alternate monetary systems, I got hit with another inspiration bolt from my Muse (fickle bitch that she is).  I am working on a post about using alternate metals for items in fantasy games, than just the usual mithril, adamantite, gold, silver, platinum, etc.  I hope to have it ready sometime tomorrow, if my classwork permits.  If you have some input on this subject, and would like to contribute, please email me at: emf5396@sru.edu

Thanks!

cold iron and meteoric iron are classics.
hepatizon is a variant bronze from classical antiquity.
orichalcum is a metal from plato’s atlantis.
i’ve also used scrith, from larry niven’s ringworld.
